Capacity Plan

Changelog

What’s new.

Everything that ships in Capacity Plan, newest first.

  1. Latest

    Team plan

Hiring and exits get their own timeline — and every forecast sheet shows the same records.

    • NewThe Team plan page: a week-by-week timeline of team against need, with a swimlane per line. Hire classes, planned exits and suggested classes sit on it as pills you can drag; the numbers follow live.
    • NewHire classes with training, nesting and ramp phases, sized in people on a contract, and cross-skilled onto more lines from a chosen week.
    • NewLearning curves that cost hours: each ramp week can carry the new hires’ handle time, blended into the week’s AHT by their share of phone hours.
    • NewBack-office lines: switch “Answered in” off and the service level counts handled ÷ received, with occupancy typed per week.
    • NewScheduling inefficiency (SFI) joins the hours chain, between scheduled and rostered hours.
    • ImprovedThe forecast sheet’s coverage strip stays pinned while you scroll.
  2. The week-by-week forecast sheet

Forecasts become a sheet planners read like Excel: weeks across, assumptions down.

    • NewForecast sheets with weeks as columns and every assumption on its own row, in foldable sections that stay in view, with a coverage chart on top.
    • NewOccupancy is worked out with Erlang C from the service level and answer time, instead of being typed.
    • NewShrinkage split into layers — shrink in office, absenteeism and vacation — each grossed up in turn.
    • NewOpening FTE, weekly attrition and hire groups in the sheet, projecting the team week by week. Attrition now stands for every departure, known contract ends included.
    • NewFilter the capacity plan by client or activity, several at once.
    • ImprovedScenarios shown as cards beside the live plan, with a coloured difference on every metric.
    • ImprovedPublishing a week archives the version it replaces, so each week has one published version and at most one set of changes.
    • ImprovedMore realistic sample team and forecasts to explore.
    • FixedToolbar pills keep a steady width as the scope changes.
  3. First release

The capacity plan on real data, and the workforce it runs on.

    • NewThe capacity plan: a verdict, coverage by line and week, the gaps that need attention with fixes that can still land, and what-ifs laid over the real plan.
    • NewAgents, contracts, clients and activities — Planifizer-shaped, with Excel and CSV import in English or French.
    • NewForecasts with draft, published and archived versions per week, and example forecasts shaped to each line.
    • NewThe scenario sandbox: size a client with no data, across 52 weeks of Erlang C, and export to PDF or CSV.
    • NewPasswordless sign-in with one-time email codes.
